Lick O’ The Week #1
Combining legato hammers and pull-offs, with picking for speed and tone!!
One of the ways to play fast is to combine groups of fast alternate-picked notes with fast legato notes, here are a couple of combinations for you to try. Rock On!
Note: Legato means “no breaks between successive tones.” Although legato can be achieved while picking, guitar players often use the term legato to describe hammers and pull-offs.

Nice lick. I actually also had great fun playing chord progressions over it (under it? ha! ha!) while you were demonstrating it
Cheers, Richard
